Breaking the silence

I just realized it has been about two months since I last updated the blog. Here is a quick summary of what we have been up to lately. In December and January we spent three weeks in California. It was a nice, restful visit with friends and family. The weather was great, according to us. The day we left Boston it was 3 degrees and when we landed in Long Beach it was 67 degrees warmer. It was nice to have so many people around, we really miss that full house feeling now that we are back in New Hampshire. Unfortunately, right around Christmas David and many others in the family caught a stomach virus. I avoided it until the very end. It turned out that we had to delay out departure because I got sick. So we stayed an extra weekend resting and getting well. I guess we just wanted to warm up a little longer before we made the trek back across the country. Here are a few pictures of our antics post Christmas, our December pictures are on my brother's computer, hopefully they are arriving soon and I'll post them.

That is where the excitement ends. The weather is cold, cold, cold. There have been a few days in between storms where we attempt to take David out to play. Since he often has a cold, he gets frustrated easily. Here are a few more pictures from a warmer day.

And finally, a couple of friends have had their new babies out here. We have been visiting the newborns and hanging out with his friends, helping David get used to little babies. For those who don't know, David is having a little sister in June :)
