Friends

Being in California over the holidays is great for many reasons, one is that friends from out of town tend to travel at this time too. Along with visiting with friends who are local, we got to catch up with those who also live a bit further, including Norway!! It was great to see you all and have you meet Isa.

Christmas 2008

Since there are three children 2 and under in our family, we decided to move our Christmas Eve festivities much earlier. It worked out pretty good, we thouroughly enjoyed watching them open their presents.

It can be a bit chilly at my parents' house

On Christmas morning, we drove out to spend time with Grandma Mary and Grandpa Keith. The kids had a great time with their new presents.

Later on Christmas Day, after a much needed nap for the kids and a roaring victory of the Lakers over the Celtics, we continued the festivities at Grandma Kay's house.

December 2008 in CA

After a very long day of travel to the west coast, we finally arrived for some warmer weather in California about a week before Christmas. We really are so thankful to have all our family so close to each other. We immediately started visiting with friends and family.
