Marissa sings

Here is the long awaited video from Christmas.

Spring time in California

Last week we spent some time thawing out in California. David was in heaven. Every morning he would walk his cousin to school. What a treat, to be able to walk out the front door minus, the coat, snowsuit, boots, hat, and so on. He loved walking around, looking at cars that drove by and just enjoying the sunshine. Well, we appreciated that too, trying to get our fill of vitamin D. We had the incredible opportunity to take David to Disneyland. We had so much visiting Mickey Mouse in his home and playing in Goofy's Park. David's favorite was riding the big choo choo all around the park. He was also very excited to see the parade at the end of the day. As we settle in back to life in New Hampshire, fighting sicknesses and 1 degree days with wind chill, we imagine ourselves sipping lemonade and sitting poolside cheering Marissa on at swim practice. We miss you all, not just the weather.

Outdoor and Indoor Fun in February

This past month it was incredibly cold and stormy. We stayed busy and it still seemed like a very long month :) In the beginning of the month, we went to a women's ice hockey game. David loved watching the game, he especially enjoyed the Zamboni.

On another day, Andrew and I decided to give Cheeky Bunny some time in the snow while David was napping. She did not like it too much, she lives a pampered life indoors.

One of the highlights was the winter carnival. Incredible ice sculptures that kids can climb and slide down and lots of fun on the ice, even for a pregnant woman. Andrew pulled us in a sleigh and made David laugh so hard in a sled. On the first video, skip ahead to see David take his turn down the slide.

Our last bit of excitement was a visit from a very dear friend. Jennifer bravely make the trek up to see us during our chilly time. Again, we mostly spent most of the time indoors, Anneliese and David really played well together and entertained each other. We had a great time chatting and catching up and showing them all the toddler friendly activities in our area. It was especially nice to have friends here to celebrate my 8th leap birthday. David misses having another toddler in the house to run around with.

I will add more later :)
