Thank God It's May!

This month the weather has been wonderful. It really makes such a difference to be able to get out and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Oh, before I forget, yes that is our little one sporting glasses, gee, what big eyes you have :) At the beginning of this month he was diagnosed with strabismus with accomodative estropia, that's basically a fancy way of saying that he is farsighted and one of his eyes would turn in to help him focus up close. The glasses is our first level of correction before anything else is tried, so far so good :)
On Mother's Day, Andrew and David treated me to a delicious breakfast out at Lou's. They even let me sleep in the morning while they went out to get me special mother's day treats.

We spent a fun weekend in Boston just being tourists and enjoying this historic town. One of the days we spent in Cambridge touring the Harvard campus and enjoying the local culture. The buildings are beautiful, different from both Yale and Dartmouth, a really neat campus, open to the bustling community. David had a great time racing around the Harvard Yard. Oh and the Lakers shirt clashing with his new Harvard cap, well I couldn't resist, they had just moved on to the Western Conference finals, he had to represent.

The next day we finally rode the Ducks in Boston. It was so much fun to be a total tourist and be shown all over town. We tend to get lost every time we are in Boston (Lupe and Lauren, we actually found the place where they take off from!), so this really helped us get oriented and see all the highlights. Of course the coolest part was entering the water, Tio Anthony would have loved it!!! David napped during most of the trip but woke up once we were in the water and was very excited. It was a fun weekend away, probably our last as a family of three.

This month we were lucky to also have visitors, Kyle and Johann came to spend a couple of nights with us during their big road trip. They really packed in all that Hanover has to offer. We took them to all our favorite spots, including a fun farm in Vermont. I really got spoiled during those few days, I don't think I had to pick up David once while they were here. He had two pals to play, hike, and exercise with. It was such a treat to have a Lakers party complete with other friends :)

Here David tries to do push ups :)
