Our trip to New York

After a week of working hard around our place in Hanover, we were all ready for some adventure. We drove down to New York. I still can't get over the fact that you can travel through several states in a matter of hours. David has been to so many states now - Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey - all in just one trip.
On this trip we were able to see many of the places we have seen on TV and in the movies, Times Square, Rockerfeller Center, Central Park, etc. The weather was very hot, it's amazing how the tall buildings seem to trap in all the heat. We had so much fun getting to know the city, braving the public transportation, and of course eating NY style pizza, hot dogs and much more. On the last evening we even caught a Yankees game. We look forward to visiting New York again.
